Maggie’s Nottingham by CZWG and Paul Smith photographed by Michael Whelan

This is the brand new Maggie Centre for cancer treatment in Nottingham, England.

British architect Piers Gough designed CZWG the center, while the fashion designer Paul Smith was responsible for the interior.

The walls of the building consists of four interlocking ovals, high above the ground and covered with green tiles.

Nottingham Maggie opened to the public on Wednesday and anyone affected by cancer is invited to come for a cup of tea and a chat.

This is the second of the three centers of the opening in the UK this year, following a recently completed in Glasgow by the WCO.
