Call Tregunter, the renovation project in a tower overlooking Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong also involved the creation of built-in storage and seating, painted white to match the walls.
Artificial lighting and air conditioning is incorporated into the depressions of the curved roof.
Set amidst a forest of towers above Old Peak Road Central Hong Kong, Tregunter tower has views of Victoria Harbour layers. The abundance of windows, walls and structural beams that are common to residential towers seems to limit the housing opportunities.
However, by converting the constraints into opportunities, return to factory davidclovers volumes of this property using the roof and floor. Subtly lengthen, pressing upward and downward sloping, the roof creates feelings variable compression and expansion - so the apartment seem larger than it is, tracing delicate lines that separate living room.
Deftly dodging and maneuvering around air conditioning units and structural beams, roof integrates artificial light and various materials - focus the housing outward.
Minimal use of wood and plaster change of elevation of the house (usually in the walls) to the horizontal surfaces - better leg / push up the roof.
Thick white painted cabinets, and storage of absorbing seat entertainment systems and integrate bank.
The materials are used in three dimensions throughout the apartment. Broken wooden floors and ceilings to kitchen walls and mosaics light to the windows in the bathrooms by the illumination of the windows look even brighter.
